Two of the U.S. Women’s National Team exhibition games held in Oxford, Ala., will be presented LIVE exclusively on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, on Tuesday, July 5 from Choccolocco Park.

In preparation for the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Ala., USA Softball recently announced five exhibition contests for the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) slated for July 4 in Columbus, Ga. and July 5-6 in Oxford, Ala. The matchups will play a key part in Team USA’s training prior to the World Games, which is set to take place July 9-13 at Hoover Met Stadium and will signify as the 2022 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup.

U.S. MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM FINISHES FOURTH AT WBSC AMERICAS QUALIFIER

The USA Softball Men’s National Team (MNT) concluded its campaign at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Americas Qualifier on April 30 after falling 11-5 to finish in fourth place. Team USA posted a 5-3 record throughout the tournament while earning a spot in the 2022 WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup scheduled to take place in Auckland, New Zealand November 26 – December 4. The Eagles will join Argentina, Cuba and Canada – who also qualified from this event – in addition to Australia, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Denmark, South America, two teams from Asia and a wild card selection.
