During the NCAA Division I softball season, USA Softball in conjunction with ESPN.com distributes a weekly Top 25 Poll. The poll is voted on by coaching representatives from 10 Division I Conferences in the 10 USA Softball Regions as well as members of the National and Local media who consistently cover Division I softball across the country.

Each NCAA softball season, USA Softball recognizes a Collegiate Player of the Year based on outstanding play over the course of the entire season.
